The Elgar International Brass Band Summer School (EIBBSS) announce their tutor team for 2024 and beyond. Led by Phillip Harper, EIBBSS announce the addition of “The voice of the Tenor Horn”, Sheona Wade to lead the Tenor Horn section and Lode Violet as co-tutor for the cornet section working alongside Foden’s Principal Cornet, Mark Wilkinson. 0Sheona White joined EIBBSS in 2023 as Visiting Horn Tutor at our first residence at Bromsgrove School. In 2024 the EIBBSS team are excited to announce that Sheona will become the full-time Tenor Horn Tutor. Sheona is widely recognised as one of the greatest horn players of her generation. The Elgar International Brass Band Summer School (EIBBSS) has taken steps to enhance its already comprehensive Health & Safety procedures with the addition of a portable Defibrillator for all events under the EIBBSS umbrella. From lessons learnt during the Covid pandemic, the organisation has already appointed a professional Health & Safety advisor who oversaw the 2021 EIBBSS course and continues in this role for 2022 and beyond.
