Elgar International Brass Band Summer School (EIBBSS), Elgar International Brass Band Winter School (EIBBWS) and Elgar International Festival of Brass (EIFOB) are  managed and organised by Elgar International Brass Symposium Ltd. The trading name for EIBBSS, EIBBWS and EIFOB.

We are totally committed to providing high-quality experiences of brass band music-making through the provision of residential music courses and live performances. Live music making is an exhilarating experience and we want to bring it to as wide an audience as we possible at the highest possible quality.

We have grown our Summer School from humble beginnings to one which is renown for the quality of faculty and delegate experience. Our 2026 Summer School is sold out. We are running our second Winter School in December and it’s already growing. We have plans to widen our residential music-making offerings and are investing in the growth of our Festival of Brass. We take feedback very seriously and aren’t a shop-front, so we won’t sell you anything that you didn’t sign up for!
