2020 entries for Bolsover Festival of Brass are coming in fast. 2020 sees the Festival of Brass move to its new home at Shirebrook Academy a new super School with outstanding facilities and will be staged on Sunday 4th October commencing at 9am. Report & Results: 2019 Bolsover Festival of Brass There was plenty of great entertainment on show at the Bolsover Festival of Brass with Skelmanthorpe leading the way alongside Crofton Silver, Chapeltown Silver, Whitworth Vale & Healey and Matlock. A worldwide audience of brass band fans from as far afield as Australia and Singapore, the USA, Europe and in all regions of the UK enjoyed over 13 hours of non-stop brass

BIBBSS are pleased to announce that the Outdoor concert for the 2020 course will be Newstead Abbey and Gardens on Wednesday 22nd July from 2pm to 3pm. BIBBSS last visited Newstead Abbey in 2017 and this marks a welcome return to this stunning venue. Nottingham City Council’s Museum and Events Officer was thrilled to accept our invitation to perform at the Abbey and we are sure everyone will enjoy the
