A few places remain on EIBBSS 2024
The Elgar International Brass Band Summer School (EIBBSS) is pleased to announce that places are quickly being booked up. Within weeks of the 2023 course being delivered in July 2023, EIBBSS has broken its previous record for enrolment for 2024 and only a small number of places are still available and so anyone definitely interested should complete their enrolment form and submit with deposit as soon as possible.
The Tutor team for 2024 will be led by Phillip Harper, with Mark Wilkinson, Lode Violet, Stephanie Binns, Sheona Wade, Daniel Thomas, Christopher Thomas, Les Neish, Steve Jones and Gareth Hand. In 2024, they will be joined by Adam Bokaris and Harry Cunningham as visiting tutors.
EIBBSS have commissioned new music from Philip Sparke, Lucy Pankhurst and Alan Fernie for what promises to be an amazing week of music making.

Phillip Harper (Artistic Director) remarked, “The EIBBSS tutor team includes players from some of our very best bands, offering their immense experience on all instruments. Delegates will be thrilled to meet their respective tutors and enjoy the challenges that the music presents.”
The EIBBSS takes place at Bromsgrove School from Sunday 21st July to Friday 26th July 2024 and is a week of intense music making including sectional and full band rehearsals, individual lessons, tutor concert, delegates platform, and two concert performances.
