Preparations are being finalised for EIBBSS 2022 at Malvern College
Preparations are in full swing for the forthcoming EIBBSS Course being staged at Malvern College, in the beautiful setting of the Malvern Hills, Worcestershire. On Friday 1st July the Management Team were at Malvern College making the final arrangements for the course including management of risk assessments and all logistics for the course and our visits to Great Malvern Priory scheduled throughout the week.
The course promises to be the best yet with Award Winning Conductor, Paul Holland as Course Artistic Director and with tutors Mark Wilkinson (Cornet), Stephanie Binns (Flugel and Horns), Daniel Thomas (Euphoniums and Baritones) with visiting Euphonium/Baritone tutor Adam Bokaris, Chris Thomas (Trombones), Les Neish (Tubas), Steve Jones (Percussion- Kit), Gareth Hand (Percussion-Tuned) and Della Pearce (Pastoral Care and assisting Cornet Tutor).
Commencing on Sunday 24th July the course has many highlights including an Outdoor Concert at Great Malvern Priory on Wednesday 27th July at 1.30pm , a Masterclass on Performance Psychology from visiting tutor Roger Webster, Tutors Concert on Wednesday 27th July at 7pm at Great Malvern Priory, Delegates Concert on Thursday 28th July at 7pm at Malvern College and Final Concert at Great Malvern Priory on Friday 29th July at 7pm.
Featured soloists on our concerts this year are Daniel Thomas (Euphonium- Black Dyke), Stephanie Binns (Flugel Horn- Black Dyke) and Les Neish (Tuba- Freelance Artist – Besson).
