Countdown to EIBBSS:
EIBBSS are busy preparing to welcome their delegates to their 2022 Summer School at Malvern College at Malvern, Worcestershire. Wrapped in the warm embrace of the glorious Malvern Hills, the College is regarded as one of England’s great independent schools. With an admired and distinguished history, Malvern alumni have helped to shape the modern world of science, sport, literature and the arts for generations. It provides the perfect home for our Summer School and we are looking forward to seeing you there. An exciting week that will include performances at the iconic Great Malvern Priory on Wednesday 27th July at 1.30pm for our Outdoor Concert and at 7pm for our Tutors Concert. The course will conclude on Friday 29th July with our Final Concert at Great Malvern Priory at 7pm.
For 2022, we’ve lined up some of the World’s leading tutors with Mark Wilkinson – Cornet – (Foden’s Band); Stephanie Binns – Flugel and Horns – (Black Dyke Band); Christopher Thomas – Trombone- (Cory Band); Daniel Thomas – Euphonium- (Black Dyke Band); Les Neish – Tuba (Besson Artist) -; Steve Jones – Percussion – Kit- (Cory Band); Gareth Hand – Percussion- Tuned-(Black Dyke Band); Della Pearce – Mentor- Pastorale Care- (Flugel – GUS Band); The Summer School will be led by Artistic Director for 2022, Paul Holland.
